Trending Instagramable places in JBay
We all looking for those places that are beautiful but we also looking for the most instagramable places these days too. They should be the same thing but they are not always… So instead of being disappointed and trying to go to a place that is popular but no fun to pull out your camera, I have put together the ultimate trending instagramable places in Jbay.
1. JBay Surf Village
This is a special place as it has loads of Instagrammable spaces. Here are the top two. The inside of the Infood Coffee Roastery is industrial mixed with rustic. Multiple spaces can fit your desired content idea. Check out these photos to see what I mean!

Then there the iconic JBay mural on a container, this is one of the classics. While the container has been moved into the kiddies playground it still makes for a great background and is always a trendy thing to capture.

Lastly, we have loads of graffiti pieces. There are some obvious pieces around the JBay Surf village but there are very few that are trendy and Instagrammable. This one is down the alley between the Coffee Roastery and Oceaniva.

2. The Mexican
This is a beautiful restaurant that makes mouth-watering food. Mexican food is always a great option for food photography as it is usually loads of little bowls of colourful ingredients. Here is a great example of a beautiful foodie shot.

It doesn’t just look tasty it is tasty! There is also a beautiful hanging chair with great lighting for a second shot!

3. JBay Bru co
This place can fit any person’s vibe! From arrival, you can get ready to start snapping. It is welcomed with a beautiful mosaic graphic capturing JBay along with the restaurant’s logo and mascot. You can even hop on the board for a wave ;)

From there you move on to the classic surfing van VW Kombi, which has been converted into a hipster eating booth.

Lastly, you have a funky cocktail bar that creates an exotic touch to the place. Cocktails couldn’t look and feel sexier.

4. First Light coffee bar
If F.R.I.E.N.D.S ever made an impact in this world it’s this, we all need a local hangout coffee bar! First Light is a beautiful minimalist, all-natural coffee shop even fitted with the perfect comfortable couch. Also at the time of writing, they are making a mural on the outside of their shop, with seeing the first draft my guess is this will also start trending soon.

5. Ninas Real Food
If you are part of the plant-based movement, vegan, vegetarian, sugar-free, or maybe Banting. Well then this restaurant does it all and in style! Everything they make turns into gold and that means capturing it makes it that much easier. My suggestion is to sit in the outdoor area on a nice warm day and get them plants in the background, makes you look like you in a jungle!

6. The mural in the middle
There is a team of people looking to make JBay colourful and full of life. They have painted up all the public toilets and other Municipal beaten-down buildings into something worth stopping by for a quick picture.

7. Supertubes
What could be more Instagrammable than Supertubes? The answer is nothing. This iconic stop is more than a pleasure to surf, it’s a pleasure to view! You can never go wrong going on a picnic date or even a sunrise coffee. There is always something that makes it worth going to, be it the waves, the sunrise, or maybe a school of Dolphins.

8. Surf Lodge South Africa
Under every light, it’s a vibe. Sunrise to Sunset and everything in between is a good time. Come be the judge for yourself.
