I’m 23 years old and I’m from the Netherlands🧡 And one thing I can never stop talking about is travelling. I’ve travelled through South America and Southeast Asia before. My favourite country so far is Colombia. Why? Because every day there literally felt like a party. People dance all day long and “time” seemed to be a concept nobody really knew about. My biggest lesson from these trips is that you shouldn’t take life too seriously and that you should say “yes” more often to things that scare you a little.
Besides travelling, I love a good party, I’m always up for a spontaneous plan, you can wake me up anytime for a good cheese platter, and I have two sisters who are usually my partners in crime for pretty much anything.
Now I can’t wait to meet you and discover South Africa together!!! ❤️🔥🇿🇦
Hi y’all, I’m Julie, a 24-years-old Dutchie and I absolutely love to travel, just like all of you! Let me tell you a bit more about myself! I love spending time with my loved ones, dancing, exploring new places, nights with the girls, ice coffee, being creative & overall making new memories in the Netherlands and abroad. 🏄♀️
Right after high school I decided to go on a high school exchange to the United States and from there on I didn’t stop traveling, I graduated in tourism management and did a bit of my studies in Sydney, Australia, where I stayed for a year! I solo traveled the east coast, Fiji and Bali! After graduating, I wanted to explore more and traveled all of south east Asia with my two best friends for 8 whole months. 🗺Organizing this surf trip together with my bestfriend (have been for 20+ years) is so special to me! I can’t wait to bring a group of like-minded girls together to have a FUN time together on the other side of the world! I’m so excited for us to become a group of friends!️

A 35% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation on Bookinglayer, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival. Strict cancellation: Because camp capacity is limited, bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. If you need to cancel, a refund can only be issued if another replacement guest is found to take your spot.

How is the Airport Transfer Arranged?
Transfers are included on the official start and end dates of the Surf Camp. Before your departure, send us your flight details so we can arrange your pickup at Port Elizabeth Airport (PLZ). On the last day, we’ll drop you off at the airport for your return journey.
FROM WHAT AGE CAN I REGISTER?
Registration is open to anyone 18 years or older. This camp is exclusively for girls from around the globe, with the average age between 18 and 28 years.
CAN I JOIN SOLO?
Yes, absolutely! In fact, over 80% of our girls join completely solo. From the moment you land, Julie, Roos, and the lodge crew create a welcoming, warm atmosphere where strangers become best friends within hours.
WHICH MEALS ARE INCLUDED?
During the camp, we believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Every morning, a fresh, healthy breakfast buffet is prepared—best enjoyed on the oceanfront deck under the morning sun.
In addition, 8 delicious hosted dinners are included, including authentic South African Braais (BBQs) and the open-fire campfire feast during our Schotia Big 5 Safari.
Vegetarian dietary options are fully accommodated; please inform us when booking.
WHAT SURF LEVEL DO I NEED?
All levels are welcome! Whether you’ve never touched a surfboard before or you’re looking to improve your turns, our professional local instructors provide tailored coaching in small groups with a 1:5 coach ratio.
DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?
Yes, travel insurance is mandatory. Please ensure your insurance covers international medical care and adventure sports including surfing.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
A 35% deposit secures your spot immediately upon booking. The remaining balance is payable prior to arrival. Refer to our Terms & Conditions for details.
