Our surf camp at Jeffreys bay also offers a variety of courses. From the basics of surfing for those who are interesting in learning to surf at Jeffreys Bay to advanced coaching and guidance for old hands looking to hone their craft.

Additionally, At Surf Lodge South Africa, we are closely situated to Safari tours, horse riding and hiking Trails. Or should you choose to realign your self and centre, we have got on-site yoga facilities.

The Basic Surf Package is for you! If you’ve never surfed before, or have very little surfing experience, this is the perfect time to learn to surf. Surf Guiding Package

Jeffreys Bay is home to the best right-hand point break in the world, but it’s also littered with other excellent surf spots that aren’t as easy to locate. The Surf Guiding Package is for the experienced surfer that understands the value of local knowledge. An experienced local guide will take you to the best spot for the given conditions, as well as help you navigate the line-up. You should be a somewhat more advanced surfer and have your own surf equipment.

Start your day right with a sunrise yoga session right on the beach, or unwind after a long day of surfing with sunset class. No matter your level of experience, stay energized during your visit with us!

Addo Safari

Tooth & Claw Safari Tours

Get a close-up experience with our African wildlife in an area that contains the densest populations of antelope, elephants and lions in South Africa! This tour starts at Addo Elephant National Park and moves on to Schotia Private Game Reserve for an intimate experience with a large variety of species including lions, rhinos, hippos and crocodiles.

The tour includes free transfers to and from both reserves, two meals and two guided game drives.
09:00am – 22:00pm Daily

A deposit of R500 is required to secure the booking and the difference can be settled by card. We offer a discount to bookings paid in cash.

Half Day Safari Tour

Toothe & Claw Safari is a magical game drive in an open Land Rover that will allow you see more wildlife than you could imagine! The four hour guided drive is followed by a delicious dinner that is prepared over an open fire. To complete the experience, you will take a spot lit night game drive where you can see more nocturnal animals.

This half day tour operates from 15:00pm – 20:45pm daily.

HORSE RIDES

Jbay has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and no better way to enjoy them than on horseback, take a slow stroll or gallop in the waves, it will leave you breathless!

Die Watergat

Die Watergat is something of a natural playground set in a beautiful valley just outside of Jeffreys Bay. The water hole features several exhilarating cliff jumps of varying heights and a zip-line that leads straight into the pristine fresh water swimming area. Die Watergat offers a perfect day of outdoor thrills when there are no waves.

Cape St Francis trip

Join us as we explore one of South Africa’s most beautiful coastline reserves. Cape St. Francis boasts pristine white sand beaches and crystal clear water. With its variety of uncrowded beach and point breaks, Cape St. Francis is a must-surf destination. End off your day of surfing with a magical sun downer at a place the locals call Sunset Rock.

Tobi

Tobias the young and purposeful founder of the Surflodge is originally from Germany but has grown up in SA and surfed all his life. He is a great surfer and fulfills his dream while teaching other people how to surf.
He is an honest and trustful person and one of the friendliest guys around, always with a smile on his face. You’ll always be able to count on him for whatever you need and he’ll be crazy excited to meet you and show you around.

He is an enthusiastic and adventurous surfer. He loves to go on strike trips, whether it is a short surf trip with friends or a hike. He enjoys people’s company and is one of the most honest people you will meet. He also manages the lodge and a qualified surf instructor.
