Surf Lodge Diary: 7th entry

Today I will not right the longest Entry, but I really want you to be part of our beautiful second trip to Addo Elephant Park. We started from the Lodge again at 4:30 am so we arrived at the gate nice and early and after a quick avo on toast for brekkie we entered the park. Here are some photos of all the wildlife we saw.

After we left Addo we were super hungry (as usual) and also in the mood for some sushi. So we headed to Port Elizabeth to eat the best sushi in town at Fushin Sushi. They really do the fanciest California rolls. We all had different ones. Leonie had the Rainbow and Tuna Avo Roll, MK had the Fushin Roll and I had the New York and Blue Flame Roll. They were all so nice and exquisite! Nils had the Green Chicken Curry with rice. He allowed me to try it and it was heavenly good. So as you can see and really we had the perfect lunch.

After that we walked our meals off with a stroll arround the corners and determined to find the Vovo Telo | Bakery and Café for a hot drink and a piece of cake. By the way: don’t miss going there once if you are in P.E. for breakfast! Ridiculously good!
Now we rolled, not strolled, back to the car and headed home to Paradise Beach for a late afternoon nap. We arrived back at the lodge at 5:00 pm and all of us got right into our beds.

At 6:00 pm the boys went for a quick evening surf and then went to our fav restaurant in town for dinner. At Nina’s we had a couple drinks, curry and reviewed the impressive last 18 hours. Right after that we drove back to the lodge to finally get some real good sleep with the sound of the ocean in our ears.

Bis Bald!
